We know that from the research in attachment, that the way we are parented can be a predictor of how we will parent our children. Parents can engage in self-reflective practices to discern their patterns before they begin the parenting process. They can consciously conceive, welcoming the spirit of the new being in. Support for mother is key, decreasing stress and increasing communication between her and the inside baby. The relationship between her and her partner is part of the parenting process; it is the energetic field the child marinates in. Families can co-create the conditions for optimal health, no matter who their child is, resilient or sensitive.
A therapist recently said to me, not all parenting practices are for every family. APPPAH supports education that instructs families from the inside, out. Please enjoy our Monday night lectures this month on parenting.
