Margaret grew up in Los Angeles, and has lived in Colorado since 1995. Soon after moving to Colorado she discovered Somatic Experiencing, Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy and Polarity Therapy. She began working with Ray Castellino in 2000 and completed her PPN training with him in 2004. After mentoring with Anna Chitty, She became an approved teacher for the Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy Association in 2006 and has taught Craniosacral courses in California, Maine and Canada. Margaret is an approved teacher for the Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy Association of North America, (CSTA-NA). She has been a Registered Craniosacral Therapist (RCSTÒ) since 2003. In addition to her Craniosacral Therapy credentials, Margaret is a Somatic Experiencing® practitioner (2002), Pre and Perinatal Therapist (2004) and Polarity Therapist (1998) . She also holds a Master’s Degree in Gerontology. (University of Southern California, 2012.) She is committed to supporting people at every stage of life to have increased support, choice and capacity.
Margaret’s skills and passion for somatic healing work have both broadened and deepened in the last twenty years. Margaret is passionate about every body’s potential to become more aligned with their true selves. With both clients and students, she seeks to create the conditions that enable someone to recognize, access and utilize their innate healing potential. She is committed to creating authentic, safe and informed environments for healing and growth. She is bringing all of her skills and experience to her latest venture. This year she and her husband Chris became the new owners of the School of Inner Health located in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The school offers certification courses in Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy and Lymphatic Therapy. Under their ownership, course offerings are set to expand and will be providing students with opportunities to study a wide range of new subjects including the relational field, the social nervous system and its role in social justice, the nervous system and the aging process, and other specialized courses for caregivers and others working or living with people with dementia.
