Shelli actively works with Hospice patients and their families by supporting the dying and their bereaved family members. Her private practice includes working with birth trauma, babies and family bonding, sports injuries, trauma from accidents, specifically whiplash, spinal, and head/brain trauma. She includes craniosacral therapy, massage therapy, visceral treatments, aromatherapy, and Polarity therapy energy medicine as a part of her skills for practice.
Shelli’s interest in prenatal and perinatal birth psychology began with a curiosity around her own multiple birth experience. Following her professional training with Ray Castellino, she continued her studies by assisting Myrna Martin in two foundation trainings in Pre- and Perinatal Psychology. She is deeply interested in exploring the somatic responses related to the birth process. She supports babies/children, and their families in discovering their own birth story. She provides education and positive support to help them resolve trauma, to restore resiliency, and to re-establish healthy and harmonious family connections. Building and strengthening this family bond leads to optimal brain development and secure attachment for their infant/child. Shelli’s practice includes prenatal and perinatal support for both mother and baby which includes craniosacral therapy, massage, and education on ways to attune to their infant and to deepen their connection. She offers a gentle, sensitive presence and brings many years of professional experience to her work.
