February 8: Labor, Delivery, and Pre and Perinatal Trauma Solutions: Maternal and Baby Centered Childbirth with William Emerson, PhD
Labor and delivery present psychological and spiritual challenges for mothers, fathers, babies, family members, and birth attendants, although many are not cognizant of this fact. If birth is recognized for the challenges it presents, birth is likely to be safer, and less likely to be traumatic for all involved. One of the challenges is personal history -- Few realize that what happens during the preconception and prenatal periods has huge impacts on the safety or distress of childbirth. But so do routine medical procedures. Dr. Emerson has spent his professional life learning how to prevent and/or heal trauma that occurs during labor and delivery. Emerson’s Monday Night Live Lecture presents the psychological dilemmas that mothers, fathers, and babies face during childbirth. Topics include the incidence of baby, mother, and father trauma, the causes of trauma, and the medical, psychological, and spiritual solutions. The ultimate goal is prevention, but Emerson has developed and researched treatment methods for 4 decades. The ultimate goal is a safe birth for all involved, and the creation of a healthy mother-father-baby bond for life. The hour after birth provides the best period of time for treatment, and is thus a most sacred time. The hours of birth require maternal- and infant-oriented approaches to reduce unnecessary interventionism and humanize the entire process. Dr. Emerson will present portions of his acclaimed power point entitled, “Maternal- and Child-Centered Childbirth”.

February 22: Please register for Ancient Scientific Knowledge for Conscious Conception, Pregnancy, Birth & Parenting with Nina Ketscher, MA
Thousands of years ago, becoming pregnant and giving birth to a child was a sacred, yogic practice - a holy experience. Knowledge and practices for maintaining the vibrations of the womb were a common spiritual practice in society among both men and women. When followed and implemented, these practices created healthy relationships, a balance between the masculine and the feminine. Couples practiced these yogic processes to purify and ready their wombs for their relationship and for creating new life. By implementing these ancient practices today, parents can create an optimal environment for higher consciousness and soul growth to occur for both themselves and their children, and provide energetic protection from, and harmony with, life's challenges for the whole family. As a result, children are more aligned with their purpose in life, they have a stronger willpower, are more loving, happy and helpful human beings, and are more physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually healthy.

She lived 5 years in India studying 2000 to 7000 year old palm leaf manuscripts revealing wisdom about the womb, how to heal transgenerational imprints at the soul level, and how to prepare the womb for conscious conception, pregnancy, and birth. Nina teaches spiritual practices for raising conscious, Divinely connected, and loving children. She is in the process of completing the PPNE certification through APPPAH, and the CEIM certification.
